In an increasingly digital world, cyber threats are constantly evolving, making cybersecurity awareness essential for everyone. The IDGC Project – Component Cyber, has developed a comprehensive Awareness and Communication Toolbox designed to promote a deeper understanding of the risks in cyberspace and equip individuals and organizations with best practices for maintaining cybersecurity.

This toolbox contains educational materials that address key cybersecurity topics, including:

• Identifying Online Scams – Recognizing fraudulent schemes and protecting yourself from cyber fraud.
• Mobile Phone Threats – Understanding the vulnerabilities of mobile devices and how to secure them.
• Safety in Online Transactions – Learning how to conduct secure financial transactions and protect sensitive information.
• Social Media Threats – Mitigating risks associated with social media platforms and safeguarding personal data.

Who Is this toolbox for?

The materials are available in French and English and have been tailored to a wide audience, including government agencies, businesses, and the general public. They aim to raise awareness of cyber threats, promote good computer hygiene practices, and emphasize the shared responsibility of securing cyberspace.

Customization & Accessibility

To ensure adaptability, source files are also available for further customization. However, editing these files requires intermediate proficiency in Adobe Suite. This allows organizations and individuals to tailor the content to their specific needs while maintaining professional quality.

All materials in this toolbox are provided under Creative Commons BY license (CC BY 4.0 as described here https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/), allowing to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator.

With this toolbox, the project hopes to foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and encourage proactive measures to protect the cyberspace.
